Anyone who knows me will absolutely tell you that I am a sound hound. Seriously. I cannot drive, do laundry, clean house or blog without music on. With that being said, I realized today that I may be going a little overboard.
Let me explain:
First it was Pandora on my droid. It’s awesomeness had me hooked and I spent many an hour building my playlists and concentrating on thumbs up or down so that Pandora KNEW what I wanted to hear – and she does…. but that’s another post.
Second came Playlist – and oh woe is me when the song I wanted to hear wasn’t available. I mean, come on! Someone somewhere had to have put that old obscure song up from the band that no one remembered, right?
Enter Sirius XM. *angles and trumpets sound* I bought a Prius in February and had a free trial and I was HOOKED! So hooked, in fact that I have the player downloaded on all of my computers and listen to it constantly – I can’t get enough of it! I turned it on at 7:15 this morning in the car and heard Tightrope from Leon Russell – that’s not something played on my area radio station people!
I cannot express how much I heart Sirius XM – words just aren’t enough. So here I sit at 7:50 am on a Saturday morning working at my laptop and listening to Pat Benatar on Classic Rewind. Jealous much?
Since I am a sound hound – behold the hounds….because they have nothing at all to do with this post……
